Meta Services, tugas E-business Strategy

Kemaren sekelas dikasih tugas selain tugas yang ada di power point, suruh nyari pengertian dari metaservices. agak susa juga nyari pengertian yang enak dimengerti tentang metaservices, tapi akhirnya nemu juga dengan bantuan google, dapetnya cuman 2 siy itu juga ga jelas-jelas amat tapi yang penting nemu...

Konsep metaservices didefinisikan sebagai berikut :
"A concept of Meta services which describes a way of abstracting and mapping a workflow to a service in computational Grid environments. By using Meta services, a workflow in a Grid environment could adapt various service concepts such as Grid services, Web services, and portal services without modification to the workflow. And the converted Meta services could be shared and reused by users. Furthermore, historical performance data could be included in the Meta service, making effective execution of the workflow possible".

"Metaservices which would essentially be to services what metadata is to data, is needed as the use or contemplated use of both public and private services in IT infrastructures accelerates, enterprises need get a much better handle on services".

Jadi kalau disimpulkan meta services dari pengertian dua sumber diatas adalah metaservices membantu untuk beradaptasi dengan berbagai macam variasi services dan dalam akselerasi infrastruktur IT dan workflow akan menjadi lebih efektif.
